Posted by Pallav Sharda in : Jobs , trackbackThey are everywhere - even in the post bubble-era, people aren’t tired of exploting the same old ideas. But amidst the swarm of sites like Monsterindia, Timesjobs there is a self-made star- Naukri.com.
The company was started back in 1997 and claims over 25,000 employers represented today. The site is pretty functional, though I could do without the flashing icons in multiple places - dont web designers read usability 101 these days?
The company was in news recently when they went IPO in November 2006, the first indian web-based company to be listed on the Indian Stock Exchange. The stock closed on Rs.593 (Issue price Rs.320) on the first day.
